A few months ago I had the pleasure of being a guest on the Vito X Dino podcast as part of my Kickstarter reward for Dean Haspiel's ANTIMATTER comic. It was a really fun conversation. When it was over, I was immediately sad that I wouldn't be on their show the next week.

Semi-related, I had previously volunteered to be their audio intern. The show begins on YouTube and the audio is later posted to Spotify where it propagates to podcast feeds. I have since been doing that job. When I started, the audio was four months behind the audio. Three audio episodes a week have been going live and the audio will catch up to the video in mid October.

It's been super fun. I started doing this job because I was a fan of the show and wanted the audio to come out regularly. You might think that with access to all the shows that I would be listening early but I actually only listen to the full shows when they are released. As part of production I listen to the first and last minutes to make sure all the pieces were assembled correctly. I save enjoying the full show for when the public gets it. I hope you enjoy it as well.

On this show, I play a song from The Makeouts; I can't handle a schedule on a holiday week; mornings are my time; I cherish those morning moments when everything is quiet; I realized I put so much attention to my podcast backlog because it feels like achievement when in fact it is nothing; I got some attention with my Mastodon post about podcast growth; is Brian Ibbot the only podcaster I came up with earning a living from their show? I rate the Off-Panel one star only because he tells us every show to rate him five stars which infuriates me; any measurement that turns into a KPI becomes useless; shake off that feeling that you need to "produce" every day; the podcast industry is tedious people doing tedious bullshit; Podcast Movement feels like the undercover cop of the new media world; I miss Podcast Expo in Ontario California; my 3d printer sitting idle is making me itchy; I printed my pieces for the upcoming Grendel game; I am getting serious about the Silhouette Cameo 4; turns out the Cricut cutting mat is not interchangeable with a Cameo machine; I have got to figure out something with Patreon pretty quck as they are changing November 1.
