Welcoming Prayer Practice is one of the deepest expressions of self love. It is one way we can embrace ourselves exactly as we are in any given moment, rather than judging or analyzing ourselves based on how we think we should be or feel. This is an ideal practice for both beginning or ending one’s day. However, it is particularly useful to apply this practice when triggering emotions arise. Rather than reject our experience, we embrace it. When we are fully able to welcome our experience, Divine Love indwelling in us, transforms it. This practice of releasing any need for power or control, approval or esteem, or security or certainty around a life situation frees us to accept the moment as it is--an act of profound spiritual surrender.
