EVP Explorations

oin host Todd Bates for an unforgettable evening as EVP Explorations welcomed Michael La Chiana, a seasoned investigator with over 30 years in the paranormal field. Michael’s journey began in his teens when he captured his first ghostly recording on reel-to-reel in his 1920s Long Island childhood home. That single moment ignited a lifelong passion for uncovering the voices and mysteries that linger beyond the veil.

After moving to North Carolina in 1992, Michael immersed himself in the state’s rich history, traveling to historical sites where strange encounters deepened his fascination with the supernatural. Blending history with hauntings, he founded The Heritage Hunters Society, dedicated to researching and documenting claims of paranormal phenomena. He later shared his experiences, EVP captures, and investigations through Journey Through The Past TV on YouTube and his Haunted Frequencies EVP Podcast on Spreaker.

On this episode, we explored Michael’s latest projects, dove into his EVP captures, and discussed what three decades of research have revealed about the outer realm.

Also, one lucky viewer won an advanced signed copy of my upcoming book, The Haunted Voice – Life After. The winner had to be present to claim the prize, and I announced it near the end of the show.
The episode streamed live on Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, Rumble, and Kick under EVP Explorations.

Ron, a five-time author and Direct Radio Voice (DRV) specialist, approached afterlife research through the lens of Analytic Idealism, blending deep philosophical insight with advanced technical skill. Lourdes, a veteran paranormal investigator and seasoned court reporter of nearly two decades, brought an unparalleled ear for detecting and analyzing anomalous audio phenomena.

Together, they transformed the landscape of spirit communication—capturing voices not from radios, but from pure, untuned white noise. Listeners experienced an in-depth conversation that explored their innovative work, the science behind their methods, and what it meant for the future of afterlife research.

On this episode of EVP Explorations with Host Todd Bates, which aired live on Thursday, August 7th at 8 PM Central, we welcomed a truly extraordinary guest—The Rev. Kaelene Lord.
Raised within the enigmatic walls of the Winchester Mystery House, Kaelene was the first third-generation tour guide in the house’s storied history. Her grandfather, John Marx, served as the live-in caretaker and manager for 36 years, allowing Kaelene to experience the house not as a tourist, but as her childhood home.

With a background as a retired Christian Metaphysical minister, a clinical hypnotherapist, and a PhD in Theoretical Metaphysics, Kaelene brought a rare blend of personal experience, historical insight, and spiritual depth to her stories. She shared rare photographs, never-before-heard ghost stories, and an incredible firsthand account of how a message from beyond may have saved lives during a California earthquake in the 1970s.

It was more than a discussion—it was a journey into one of America’s most haunted and mysterious landmarks, told by someone who knew it as home.
The episode streamed live on Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, and at EVPExplorations.com.
