The bittersweet melancholia of Evvol is haunting, it echoes up from below a nocturnal, lake-long shadow, creaking, bleeping, twittering, twisting, reverberating, modulating; breathless and optimistic in it's sadness. Recent record 'Eternal' is a collection of brilliant songs, varied in tone and intent, textured and far-reaching in it's ideas and energy. We caught up with them to ask some of our similarly deep and meaningful questions to find out their thoughts on exercise, voles and evil. Their next release is a remix EP on the ever impressive !K7 Records, around the same time as their second UK show in Hoxton at the end of November.
