    EWTN

On "EWTN News Nightly" tonight: As President Joe Biden considers candidates for the Supreme Court, pro-life advocates are watching very closely. And, when the US military pulled out of Afghanistan at the end of August last year, some Americans were not able to leave. Lawmakers say information on how many were left behind is hard to come by. Meanwhile, protestors in Myanmar took to the streets for the 1 year anniversary of the country's military coup. Executive President of Aid to the Church in Need, Thomas Heine-Geldern, joins to tell us more about the organization calling for a day of prayer for the people in Myanmar. And, violent crime in the US is on the rise in many cities. Co-Host of EWTN's "God's Blueprint for a Happy Life," Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers, who has spent more than 20 years in law enforcement, joins to share his take on the rise in violent crime across the country. Finally this evening, February is Black History Month and there are many Black Catholics who contributed to the development of the Church. Deacon Harold also discusses more about some of the prominent African American Catholics who shaped the Church.
Don't miss out on the latest news and analysis from a Catholic perspective.

How do you respond when it comes from an emotional place? 28:33 - How do you know that the universe can’t be a necessary being? 33:55 - I’m an Atheist, you are stating that the problem of evil is a problem for Atheists.
