    On "EWTN News Nightly" tonight: According to the Labor Department, consumer prices grew in November at an annual rate of 6.8%. Meanwhile, President Joe Biden remembered and honored former US Senator and World War II veteran, Bob Dole, at Washington National Cathedral. And, some 40 defendants from the January 6th riot at the US Capitol are being held in the Washington DC jail without bail. They've complained about harsh conditions, prompting court action against the facility. A fire engulfed the Catholic Charities of East Tennessee in Knoxville earlier this month. Investigators found the gasoline and matches that were used to start the fire, and arson investigators say it was intentionally set. Bishop Richard Stika from the Diocese of Knoxville, joins to tell us more about this fire and how it has impacted his work. Christians continue to face persecution in Nigeria. For the faithful in the country, publicly practicing Christianity can result in attacks, kidnapping and even being killed. Editor-in-chief of ACI Africa, Fr. Don Bosco Onyalla, joins to share what it is like for the faithful in Nigeria currently. Finally this evening, today at the Vatican, the inauguration of the nativity scene and lighting of the Christmas tree took place. EWTN Vatican Bureau Chief, Andreas Thonhauser, joins to tell us more about this year's Christmas tree and nativity scene.
