    EWTN

On "EWTN News Nightly" tonight: The community of Waukesha, Wisconsin is grieving the deaths of 5 people and praying for the dozens of others injured, after an SUV drove into a Christmas parade on Sunday. The horror was recorded by the city's livestream video and by cellphones of onlookers. International Affiliate Reporter for the Associated Press, Philip Crowther, joins to tell us what the scene is like in Waukesha. President Joe Biden remembered those killed and injured in Wisconsin, and said he is praying for them. Senior Editor at The Federalist, Christopher Bedford, joins to share his take on the tragedy, including how it is being covered by the media. Meanwhile, Pope Francis is preparing for his trip next week to Greece and Cyprus. It will be his 35th trip since he became Pope. Rome Correspondent, Colm Flynn, joins to tell us about the Holy Father's upcoming trip. Finally this evening, months after the fall of Kabul, many Afghan refugees have found asylum in the US and other countries around the world. Yet according to organizations that helped them escape, thousands could be stranded in other countries for years due to backlogs in the immigration system. Filmmaker, President of the Vulnerable People Project and host of The Jason Jones Show, Jason Jones, joins to explain the current situation, especially for Christians, of those who remain in Afghanistan.
