And after almost 16 straight hours of voting over the weekend, Senate Democrats passed the Inflation Reduction Act. Republicans insist the new taxes will hit hard every American household. In Kentucky, President Joe Biden remembered the lives lost as a result of record flooding there last month, and spoke of the devastation he saw from his view flying over the disaster scene. In recent weeks, Texas Governor Greg Abbott has sent buses of migrants to cities that consider themselves sanctuary cities for illegal immigrants, including DC and NYC. NYC Mayor Eric Adams says Governor Abbott is "Using innocent people as political pawns to manufacture a crisis." President of the Latino Partnership for Conservative Principles, Alfonso Aguilar, joins to share his thoughts on Mayor Adams' comments. Finally this evening, an art school in Italy says it does not focus on any particular style. Instead it features a strong emphasis on the world of the "sacred."
