Meanwhile, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has toured a human rights' museum in Taiwan, affirming an "ironclad" US commitment to the self-governing island. In reaction to the visit, China has scheduled military exercises for tomorrow near Taiwan's defense perimeter. Chief-of-Staff to the former Director of National Intelligence and Research Fellow at the Heritage Foundation, Dustin Carmack, joins to share whether he sees a peaceful resolution to this. And a bill expanding healthcare coverage for veterans sickened by gases from military toxic burn pits passed the Senate last night. It was unexpectedly held up by Republicans. Pope Francis' next trip is in September to Kazakhstan. EWTN Vatican Producer Alexey Gotovsky is in the central Asian country to tell us more about the Papal trip. Finally this evening, young pilgrims from all over Europe are heading to Spain as part of Compostela's Holy Year.
