On "EWTN News Nightly" tonight: Lawmakers on both sides are trying to pass legislation to protect Supreme Court justices and their families after left wing organizations plan to protest at their homes. It's all part of the fall out from the leaked Supreme Court draft opinion earlier this week on the future of Roe v Wade. President of Faith Based Security Network, Carl Chinn, shares what more is known about the pro-abortion group calling for people to go to their local Catholic Churches on Sunday to protest. At a White House press briefing Thursday evening, EWTN News Nightly White House correspondent Owen Jensen asked the outgoing Press Secretary Jen Psaki about a Catholic Church that was damaged by pro-choice graffiti in Colorado. Meanwhile, the April jobs report shows 428,000 jobs were added in the last month. President Joe Biden celebrated the number, saying in a statement that 8.3 million jobs have been created during his administration. Research fellow at the Heritage Foundation, Joel Griffith, joins to talk about the latest jobs report. And Pope Francis met with around 1,000 members of the Missionaries of Mercy earlier this week. The group included our own Fr. John Paul Mary. EWTN Employee Chaplain, Fr. John Paul Mary, joins to tell us about the meeting.
