Ex-NTU professor reveals uncommonly found traditional recipes

In ‘Culture Club’ Melanie Oliveiro speaks with Professor Ong Jin Teong, author of “The Tastes of Home: Easy-to-Cook Dishes from Singapore and Malaysia”. He highlights which key recipes – not commonly recorded in writing – are present in the book. Professor Ong will also explain why this cookbook is aimed at students, newly-weds and those with little experience in cooking. Professor Ong, who retired from NTU’s College of Engineering, also talks about his post-academic life as a traveling cookbook writer.
