Ex-RAF CEO Letsoalo risks criminal charges after dodging Parliament

Former Road Accident Fund CEO Collins Letsoalo could face criminal charges if he again fails to appear before Parliament, after repeatedly avoiding summonses linked to a probe into his multimillion-rand spending while in office. Scopa chairperson Songezo Zibi says sheriffs found Letsoalo’s listed properties vacant several times, prompting Parliament to serve the summons electronically. Despite the evasiveness, Zibi says the committee expects him to appear and account for R23 million spent on security, hotels and bodyguards between 2023 and 2025.
