  • S01E08 DETOURS ON THE 37TH PARALLEL - A Conversation With Luxa Strata

Tonight we are honored to have Luxa Strata, of the Luxoccult Podcast and The Green Mushroom project, join the Ex V Planis circle for an honest and hilarious discussion on anything from Chaos Magick to mental health to the insight that Flood needs to learn to crochet in order so understand 8th dimensional spaces.

Luxa is the force of nature behind the LuxOccult Podcast, The Green Mushroom Project, and countless other hidden corners in the podcast world, all of which will surely be less hidden soon enough.

On episode 6 of Ex V Planis, Wren and Flood continue their journey on the Highway of High Strangeness and one of it's most eclectic destinations... Point Pleasant, West Virginia. Known to most on this beat as the home of The Mothman, we assure you...there were many other things happening at the time that were far more bizarre than the winged creature with glowing read eyes.

Further, we go. Come with us, for there is still much more to tell.

  • S01E05 Case File 002 - The Mothman Chronicles Pt 1
Welcome back, Dear Clairaudience, to the Ex V Planis Circle. Tonight, we share with you Case File 002.

Join us on a journey we have been on for quite some time...long before we were even fully aware of the path laid before us.

Now, we are traversing the dreamscape that is the broad-reaching web of phenomena surrounding the Mothman of Point Pleasant. This phenomena encompasses many manifestations. You can say it depends on where you were, when you were...and who was looking.

A giant "bird" woven from the very fabric of the Void, with glowing, crimson eyes. A searching man, with a smile stretched from ear-to-ear, across an almost-human face. The flying machine the Smiling Man arrived in. Puppet-like messengers dressed all in black. Dancing lights putting on a show for those in the right place at the right time. A man of this plane seeking the source of it all.

We are not retelling a story that has been told countless times. We are bringing you along on our own journey - our own exploration - of the many "faces" this phenomena wears. In this first entry of Case File 002, we peel back the layers of reality and seek the answers behind the legend of the Mothman of Point Pleasant.

  • S01E04 DETOURS ON THE 37TH PARALLEL, VOL 1: MAGICK & OCCULT IN MEDIA

Welcome, friends. this evening we are diving into Magick and Occult practices in media. This whole conversation is a simple toe-dip into what will become a deep dive over the course of the next year, but we still wanted to share this with you.

The "Detours on the 37th Parallel episodes will be an occasional step away from the field work/experiences which will be the core of Ex V Planis. It's an opportunity to reach out in different ways to discuss how all of these esoteric subjects interact and in turn effect our lives on a daily basis.

We will return in 1.5 weeks to dive back into our journey and share that with you, but until then, sink in, give a listen, and see where the rabbit hole takes YOU...in particular. Then feel free to share those trips into the void with us at [email protected]

In this episode we discuss many musicians, artists, and filmmakers. Below you will find an abundance of referencing material to dive into should you so desire to travel into the hole with us.

Questions are encouraged and welcomed, as well as corrections we need to make, and voices who have something to say on the matter.

Cheers, to the weird. We are grateful you're with us.

  • S01E02 Edwards Road, Part 2

Welcome back to the Ex V Planis Circle. For Part 2 of Case File 01 we will share with you our experiences at the locations along the winding Edwards Road in Rural Hall, NC.

If you have not yet noticed, our Oddcast will often be long-form. That is...we have much to share with you, Dear Clairaudience. If you stick around until the end, we promise you it will be worthwhile.

In Part 2 of our Edwards Road Case File, we will be sharing with you the audio we captured at the Milas Edwards suicide location. There were countless experiences - some shared by all, while some were of the internal, personal sort. We have many stories to share from that night - all unforgettable, and some still unexplainable.

We hope you join us for this journey. We also hope you join us for TEA TIME and don't miss a special guest appearance from Shiggy Ragers of the famed Budget Mystery Incorporated and their companion Scooby Don't.
