Some stories are so grand they need more than one author to tell them. Thus God chose four witnesses—four Gospels—to explain the good news about Jesus: the voice of a man, the roar of a lion, the grunt of an ox, the call of an eagle. Each witness speaks with a tone all his own, but all speak with one voice about the coming of Jesus so long ago foretold:

“The glory of the Lord shall be revealed.”

“And shall achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given.”

“And the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.”

So join us this Advent as we listen to four witnesses, remembering anew the good news of our Savior’s birth as we celebrate with joy all that’s now true because of Jesus.
