It's taken three years, 11 months and 12 days, but the State and Federal Governments have finally agreed on a funding deal for the 2032 Olympics.
The deal is a $7 billion funding agreement that will hopefully ensure Brisbane is able to put on an impressive display in 2032.
Queensland Deputy Premier Jarrod Bleijie told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast the deal was "exactly what we wanted."
