In an exclusive interview, Rep. Devin Nunes tells Larry O'Connor that he believes the FBI was targeting Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn in the early days of the Trump Administration and that ultimately, "they set him up." He also declares that the FISA warrant applications from James Comey and the Department of Justice submitted for Carter Page were "fraudulent." Nunes also says he believes Comey and the FBI refused to reveal the counterintelligence operation on the Trump campaign not out of a concern over the operation's sensitive nature, as Comey maintains, but because "they knew it was corrupt." Nunes also intimates that MI6 agent Christopher Steele may not have actually written the infamous "Russian dossier" but instead it was crafted by Fusion GPS directly. This flies in the face of public, sworn testimony on the reliability of the dossier solely based on the reputation of Steele himself.
