Many people who have sought out the mentorship or guidance of a coaching professional in the online space has at one point or another been invited to an initial call with said professional.


These introduction calls go by all different names including and not limited to: discovery call, breakthrough session, clarity call, activation session, laser coaching session, mini-coaching session. To be clear - it's not the name of the session that makes it manipulative, pressurized or guilt-inducing; It's usually the sales process. 

Today's episode we are talking about those first-call experiences. From sh*tty sales scripts to shame-spiraling questions, some coaches will stop at nothing to make the sale. Some will to guide prospective clients how to take out credit cards and sell belongings to join a time-based coaching programs  that often-times come with no guarantee.


Once again, we only scratch the surface in this episode and will be going deeper into this conversation in the coming months.
