Key Text: 1 Peter 2:21–25

In this episode of Excel & Reflect, we explore what it truly means to be entrusted — and to entrust ourselves fully to God.

Peter reminds suffering believers that Jesus “kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously.” Even while being reviled, falsely accused, and ultimately crucified, Christ responded not with retaliation, but with trust. His suffering was not weakness; it was faith in action.

We also reflect on Isaiah 53, one of the most profound prophetic portraits of Jesus written more than 700 years before His birth. In twelve verses, Isaiah captures the life, death, burial, and resurrection of Christ — revealing a Savior who willingly submitted to the Father’s plan.

Hebrews 12 calls Jesus the “author and perfecter of faith.” In this episode, we consider what that means. Did Jesus have faith? Scripture shows that He lived in complete reliance upon the Father from beginning to end. His obedience in Gethsemane, His silence before His accusers, and His willingness to drink the cup all demonstrate unwavering trust.

In a world filled with voices, opinions, and constant connection, influence is never absent. It is shaping us quietly, consistently, and often invisibly. At the same time, our lives are shaping others in ways we may never fully see.

Scripture reminds us that influence is not neutral. Jesus calls His followers the salt of the earth and the light of the world. Salt changes what it touches. Light alters whatever darkness it enters. Influence is part of who we are as believers.

But influence moves in two directions.

The Apostle Paul warns against being conformed to the world while urging believers toward transformation. That tension forces us to ask honest questions:

1. What is shaping my thinking?
2. Who is influencing my priorities?
3. What voices am I allowing to form my heart?
4. And what kind of influence is my life leaving behind?

In this episode, we reflect on:
