Due to Garrett’s open and transparent nature, we get a true sense of the solid foundation they all have and why they have continued to be a steady influence in our culture since 2009. He shares more about the awesome success Dude Perfect is experiencing now, the future of the company, the nature of running the business, and the ultimate “WHY” they do what they do. Clay is a former pastor of Buckhead Church in Atlanta, GA. Over time, he’s grown a significant influence in the leadership coaching realm after releasing a book titled "How to Lead When You're Not in Charge". Today he takes that message, among others to organizations across the country. He states, "I help emerging leaders become better people and better employees (in that order).” Clay shares some amazing wisdom and insight as we just scratch the surface in this 15-minute interview. Clay will be a regular on the Excellence Culture.
All of these episodes get filmed at the offices of our amazing partner MarketScale. With as busy a schedule as I have, to have a partner like them is necessary for me. They are the best! This is also a little teaser of an episode we filmed over the holidays with my two daughters. So fun! Enjoy!
Faith can be a sensitive topic in the workplace and should be for many organizations. But, that doesn’t change the fact that faith is the driving force for many individuals.
When I set out to have these conversations, I purposely don’t have an agenda. I simply want you to hear the stories of these awesome people and what drives them. Sometimes, I’m lucky and can tie it back to what I do as an advisor in the benefits world, but for the most part, I let it flow.
I have been very encouraged by the transparency every guest has brought to the table. Whether it’s sharing challenges and struggles they have faced, or like we see in this video… the way God has worked in their life.
Please enjoy this compilation of the Excellence Culture “Moments of Faith” so far.
It’s hard to imagine arriving at a place of Excellence without some type of significant support system. For most, that support system is family.
When I do these interviews, I love to go back and hear about the upbringing of my guests through the mechanics that help them thrive now.
In this short video, we put together some of the memorable moments when guests gave credit to their families. I felt like this would be fitting as we prepare to gather over the holidays. Family truly does matter!
