Today my guest is my cousin Hawal. Hawal is a production engineer at a major car company in Germany. Hawal obtained a master’s degree in engineering from Aachen University before starting his career building electric cars. We talked about what it means to be an engineer, what production engineering is, and managing your priorities in such a demanding profession.

Today we talked about nursing with Ikram Hussain. Ikram studied at the University of Ottawa and has been working as a nurse at various roles in a few hospitals since then. We talked about how she got into the field, the good and the bad, and what it’s like to be in her shoes.

I talked about careers in pharmacy with a very special guest - Mai Mowaswes. Mai grew up in Toronto, went to Pharmacy School in Albany, and has worked as a pharmacist for the past five years. We mostly talked about her rotations and her work experience and skipped over the drier material like course content and getting licensed. We also talked a little bit about HeartMath towards the end, which is an interesting psychological intervention.
