Too often we feel imprisoned by circumstances,  fear,  illness and false belief.  The first apostles were literally imprisoned for the message they were preaching.  An angel set them free. The lessons from their story shows us how God's grace is able to set us free from the things that imprison or thinking and lead us into new life.

Rest does not mean inactivity - it means that we do what God asks us. That is how we experience deeper levels of grace in our lives. Anytime God speaks to us about "doing" it is always for our profit so we need to learn to distinguish between our flesh and being led by the Holy Spirit. If we use grace as an excuse for our flesh then we only rob ourselves - find freedom in this truth!

In a world of turmoil and uncertainty Penny looks at the unshakeable hope we have in our Lord Jesus. She exhorts us to draw again from Jesus our source “ the light of the world” and encourages us that Christ in us is the hope of glory for the world around us. We have a contagious love and we will experience life in all of its fullness when we lay down our our lives for the sake of others.

Jesus is the one with the authority to work in your life. Grace meets you at the end of your 'self'. It's not about your work or your ability - it never was. Jesus chose you out of his love and kindness. Receive Him by faith and see your breakthrough. Allow Jesus to say the word over your situation.
