Dropping a final monster episode to end the year. I decided to have Edd on the show to get his thoughts on the giant mess of riffs and drama that is Fear Factory. Cory is back as well and I am not gonna lie, this thing is all over the place. Deicide. Avril Lavigne. Meshuggah. Strapping Young Lad. Batman. More tangents than than Fear Factory has break ups and comebacks! Happy holidays and enjoy our chaos!

In episode, we tackle ISIS' Panopticon and In The Absence Of Truth. While the rest of the world seemed to really enjoy these releases, this is where Pat and I start to fall off with the band. We also lament the addition of meatheads to the ISIS fandom.

This week focuses on what some consider the band's finest moment, Oceanic. Spoiler: we like it quite a bit but Celestial still reigns (down) supreme. We also touch on the accompanying remix project that band did for this release.

We start our ISIS season with Pat and I just basically going off about how much we love the early ISIS discography. Spoiler alert, the real hero in this span of albums is Celestial as far as we are concerned, so we talk a lot about that and its overlooked companion EP Sgnl>05.

The final episode of season 2 passes judgement on the last 20 years or so of Napalm Death's output. Spoiler alert, its just ok but we love them anyways. Special thank to Luke, Edd, and Corey for doing this with me!

This is season 2, episode 3 of excised/anatomised's deep dive into Napalm Death's back catalog. We have reached the mid to late 90s which includes Fear Emptiness Despair, Diatribes, Inside The Torn Apart and Words From The Exit Wound. Personally, I am pretty fond of this era, but looking back, its definitely got some problems. We also discuss the importance of Kylie Minogue. Why? Look. It is a podcast. THINGS HAPPEN!!!!

Season 2, episode 2 of excised/anatomised is up and running! This time we dig through the band's excursions into death metal, Harmony Corruption and Utopia Banished. We also take shots at Devin Townsend's mullet and the SWAT teams have to be called in to get Edd to stop gushing about Harmony Corruption.

excised/anatomised is back with season 2 of the podcast. This time we dig into Napalm Death. Easily one of the most influential and well known bands in extreme music. Joining me on this particular journey is Corey Peterson, Luke Oram and Edd Robinson. We hit the ground running by taking a look at the band's infamous beginnings, Scum and From Enslavement To Obliteration, with a little bit of The Peel Sessions thrown in for good measure.

In this episode, we dissect the work of Cleveland, Ohio's legendary riff machine Keelhaul. This band was a rare bright spot in the local scene for me, and with their return to ALL streaming services, I figured now was the perfect time to dive into their catalog and figure out what went right and what went wrong *spoiler alert: the only thing wrong with their catalog is there isn't more of it* Joining me on this excursion are Luke Oram, Scott Shellhamer, Cory Peterson, Pat Carothers, and Keelhaul's own Will Scharf! Will was kind enough to hop on the call and discuss his work with us. Its a longer than normal episode, but its totally worth it as Keelhaul are amazing and Will is hilarious. Enjoy!
Will Scharf-Keelhaul's bandcamp, Craw's bandcamp and both bands can be streamed everywhere! GO LISTEN!!!!
