On the weekend it was announced that Hancock Prospects was pulling out of a multimillion dollar deal with Netball Australia, forcing Roy Hill, Netball WA and West Coast Fever’s key sponsor to cancel their sponsorship of the sport.

Roy Hill is 70% owned by Hancock Prospects, leading to the decision to cut their financial support that funds the majority of WA Netball.

Netball WA CEO, Simone Hansen told 6PR Mornings host Liam Bartlett she is disappointed about how the whole situation has played out.
