Former Dodgers standout player Yasiel Puig joins Doug McKain for an exclusive interview!
Puig hosted a baseball clinic in Los Angeles this weekend and swung by our studio to talk about what life has been like for him away from MLB the past couple of years and his experience playing baseball in other countries.
Puig also opens up about his time playing for the Dodgers and some of his favorite memories including hitting a home run in the 2018 World Series with Kobe Bryant in attendance cheering for him, being able to play alongside the likes of Clayton Kershaw/Adrian Gonzalez/Cody Bellinger and more of his favorite teammates and his journey from Cuba to the Dodgers.
In a new "True Or False" segment, Puig also shares whether some big stories about him are actually real like Zack Greinke throwing his bag off the team bus in a heated dispute, him requesting a helicopter to drop him off at Dodger Stadium, Clayton Kershaw requesting him to be traded and more.
All in all, Puig made it known that he hopes to return to play for the Dodgers at some point but made it known he would love to join any MLB team, even on a minor league contract.
