Hello again, I'm sorry for not publishing in a long time. I'm also sorry for the noise because I'm in my car on my way to the languages school. Today is a special day on my languages school because to celebrate the book day, the International Book Day as is today, they organized a literary contest. and I managed to win my category. We had to do a micro tale of 100 words and I won my category, English V2. In the next Presto, I will read my micro tale. It's a little bit local. Maybe you don't understand every part of it, but I'm pleased to share it with you. Thank you.

Hello again, here Enrique from Excuse My English. First of all, sorry for not publishing all these days. I had an idea for the episodes in Friday, but it was a terrible weekend of work and it was impossible to publish. Let's go. If you look at the cover of the episode, maybe you are wondering what the hell are these kind of playing pieces you see. In fact, they are buttons, the kind of buttons we use on our clothings. When my father was a child, he used to play football with buttons with his friends, and he transmitted this tradition to me and my siblings, and consequently we transmitted again to our children. I would need some episodes to explain you the rules if you are interested, but let's finish saying we play in a family league, and in the photo you can see my team in the game of last Friday. In 1957, the river Turia, which crosses Valencia, my town, flooded out and killed more than 300 people and destroyed thousands of houses. Because of that, the authorities of that time decided to create a new riverbed out of the city and change the course of the river. For this reason, the old Turia river that crossed Valencia became an incredible urban park, one of the wonders of the city where I live. and my favourite running field. The cover of today's podcast is a photo taken by me just 10 minutes ago, where you can see the marvellous place where I have been running this morning. Hello again. And first of all, sorry about the audio quality of this podcast, because I'm now driving and commuting from work to home. Normally, I used to work on the afternoons and evenings. Now I'll explain to you. I'm a musician, I'm a violinist, but I work in a conservatorium, in a music school, teaching violin and also chamber music. So my work is mostly on afternoons and evenings because my students come to the conservatorium after finishing their school, normally from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. So in this chapter I would like to explain what do I do for a living. El primer podcast que yo escuché en 2008 se llamaba Puro Mac y era un podcast sobre Mac presentado por dos argentinos, Fede Hatum y Flavio Ginsburg. La cosa era que Fede Hatum, que había nacido en Argentina, llevaba muchísimo tiempo fuera de Argentina y su español estaba muy oxidado. Realmente hablaba un español muy justo como para hacer un podcast. Pero él tuvo la determinación de seguir haciéndolo para mejorar su español. y yo lo admiré muchísimo durante los tres años, realmente su español mejoró un montón y eso ha sido la inspiración para este podcast. Este es el último audio que vais a escuchar en castellano porque a partir de ahora este podcast será en inglés y lo voy a hacer para mejorar mi inglés hablado que como veréis es bastante terrible.
