God delivers more plagues to Egypt because of a hardened Pharaoh. The king will see that God's patience has come to an end and His wrath is imminent. God's final judgment is about to come upon Pharaoh and Egypt, the 10th and final plague. Prior to commanding this plague, God gives the Israelites regulations concerning the Passover Feast and that it is to be maintained in remembrance and celebration of the Israelite's new life of fellowship with the Lord. Passover marks a new era for the people of Israel and foreshadows the new, spiritual Israel in Christ, the perfect Lamb who takes away the sin of the world.
