"Exodus: The Wedding" is a different look at the events around the giving of the 10 Commandments. We often look at the Decalogue (10 commandments) as an arbitrary set of do's and don'ts to gain God's favor. If we look at the text through an ancient eastern lens, we'll find that it's actually a marriage contract between God and us. That's not just a subtle change in how we look at it, it's a substantial shift into the heart of God and what it looks like to partner with him.
