Charlotte, Charlie and Millie discuss the role of the Nanny when a new sibling is arriving.

How can Nannies prepare the older children for their new sibling? When should the older children be told a baby is coming? What level of involvement should the older children be encouraged to participate in, in regards to preparing the new baby’s nursery, buggy, clothes etc.

The ladies discuss what happens before the baby is born. Who is looking after the child(ren) if labor happens overnight? Are retainers a thing?!  They discuss the Nanny’s workload and whether a pay rise is guaranteed. Should a Nanny ask?

Charlotte, Charlie and Millie offer hints and tips on how to negotiate parents post birth: being at home, reading the room, being aware of hormones and being diplomatic!

There will be a shift in the children and Nanny’s routine so be organised, be prepared, think ahead, make it smooth for yourself.
