In a series of new podcasts, solicitors and barristers from Expatriate Law will interview leading family lawyers from other jurisdictions around the world. The podcasts will allow expat clients an overview of the family laws that will apply in the country in which they live.

In the third of this series, Stephanie Allerton, solicitor at Expatriate Law, interviews Ruwani Dantanarayana who is a Senior Associate at John Wilson Partners in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

In the fourth podcast in this series, Stephanie Allerton, solicitor at Expatriate Law, interviews Chantal van Baalen-van IJzendoorn, a partner at LINK lawyers in Amsterdan. Chantal is a specialist international family lawyer, advising on divorce, maintenance, asset division and prenuptial agreements. Chantal is also a fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers, and a Member of the Dutch Bar Association, the Association of Family Lawyers and Divorce Mediators, the Association of Collaborative Professionals and the Dutch Mediators Federation.

In the third podcast in this series, Alexandra Tribe, solicitor at Expatriate Law, interviews Lauren Carmichael, formally an international legal consultant at Clark's attorneys in Johannesburg, South Africa. Lauren has recently joined as a solicitor at Expatriate Law, where she advises British expatriates in South Africa, and South African expatriates in England, on divorce and family law matters.

In the second of this series, Alexandra Tribe, solicitor at Expatriate Law, interviews Makiko Mazuuchi, Attorney at Law from Mimosa International Law Office in Japan. Makiko specializes in international family law, in particular divorce and financial settlements with an international dimension, child custody disputes, child abduction and inheritance. In this podcast, Makiko summarizes the process for British and other expats to divorce in Japan through the Japanese courts, and the potential financial claims available on divorce.

In the first of this series, Alexandra Tribe, founder of Expatriate Law, interviews Christopher Lee of Domenech Abogados in Spain. Christopher is dual qualified in English and Spanish law, and his firm based in Barcelona, advises British expatriates in Spain, or English speaking people requiring family law advice in Spain.
