Statistics have shown that marriages that truly work are marriages that have a bound friendship, when a couple are best friends you can expect that marriage to be great despite the challenges they will face. Friendship is the bedrock of a great marriage. In expecting a great marriage one of the key things that must be cultivated is friendship. Even if it didn’t happen at the initial stage of the marriage, I believe couples can intentionally cultivate friendship in their marriage no matter the stage in which their marriage is in.
