How does God want to unleash this church? Not just by being radical individuals but by being a radical new community, working out the gospel together.

We may think that we don't have enough money, knowledge, skills or friends to make disciples. But we don't have to: all we need is to have fellowship with people and they will open up - to us and to God.

If we reclaim our field, our house will become a house of worship, a house full of people and a house for the city. We won't fight about music styles, we won't just be for one demography and we will be indispensable for the city.

The first time when people were getting together in unity and sharing everything was in the first Christian community. How does out community look like today?

"Go!" doesn't always mean a long way: sometimes it's just a little farther from where we're at - or from what we've settled for. But the miracle is always in the stretch.

What can we learn from Joshua at the eve of entering the promised land as we are celebrating our first service on San Francisco's Treasure Island?

Do we love people? Or do we just tolerate or maybe even avoid them? Why do we love things more than Jesus? Because we have not discovered how much he loves us - there is not a moment where he doesn't love us.

Discipleship is simply about following Jesus. Are we really observing and asking, following him in all we do, getting on a mission with him and go out? Are we really walking with God and abide in him?

Mercy hurts, is selfless and doesn't insist on getting something in return. How can we be merciful persons? Whom can we give something, and what?

Even if we come to church every week, are huge givers and do long fasts, it doesn't make us followers of Jesus. We need to ask ourselves: How do I follow Jesus with everything I do - not by following rules, but by becoming like him.
