In this episode we talk about spiritual warfare and the important of deliverance for it is the ministry of Jesus!

"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12)

PSALM 34:18- The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. 

Dealing with emotional pain or trauma is inevitable and for many of us, we learned coping mechanisms or have ‘learned behaviors’ from childhood that are unhealthy at best. For many of us, learning how to heal from heartbreak requires un-learning unhealthy emotional habits and reactions to pain.

No matter what we are feeling or going through we can lean on God, His word and His promises to bring us comfort and hope ❤️

In the Christian context, ‘witnessing’ to someone is to tell them everything you know about God, who He is, and what He has done for you in your life.

So how do we go about doing that?!

Unrealistic expectations can damage our relationships and prohibit us from doing Kingdom work! It is important we beware of how and to whom we place expectations on.

“Now FAITH is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen” Hebrews 11:1 

As we can see, the biblical definition of faith is trusting in something you cannot explicitly prove. So what does it mean to have faith in God?

We are smarter, more educated, more connected than ever before, so why is there so much suffering in this world? So much chaos, stress, worry etc.

While intelligence is an important aspect of who we are, we believe that we as a society have regrettably prioritized and idolized the wrong quotient.

In this episode we will discuss why fellowship is so important to our spiritual growth and development. We gather in fellowship to obtain scriptural information for the purpose of application, to seek transformation through Jesus Christ.

We will be discussing how negativity, cynicism and complaining separates us from others and from God. We will also discuss how it prohibits us from fulfilling our purpose.

We must remember we are not just raising children, we are raising husbands and fathers, wives and mothers, compassionate, emotionally intelligent adults and competent employees. That being said, how we parent has consequences as well as kingdom implications.
