“Cancer is a word, not a sentence.”
When it comes to cancer, we understand that finding the right words can be a challenge. Whether you or a loved one is going through a cancer journey, learning how to give and ask for support can take time. Having a comforting quote or two on hand can be a great relief when you are in need of some calming words to cherish or share.
Bishop Robert was truly a man of wisdom. We thank God for all of his teaching weekly in Brotherhood meeting. I will never forget the times we spent together.

Life is most certainly a puzzle, usually one that will give you a hard time until you figure it out.
If you are a simple person with a clear goal and idea of what you want to achieve in your life, as well as a set of rules that will help you get there, then your puzzle will be much easier to complete.
You’ll probably make some mistakes along the way, but the determination will keep you persistent and help you win that challenge.
For those who are struggling with certain things in life, things won’t be easy.
There will be pieces that do not fit where you initially put them, and at one moment it will become much more difficult to continue with your puzzle. You are not facing a dead end.
One where you’ll have to make a decision whether to give up or start all over again?
It’s at that moment when you need to rethink what you are doing, break apart the puzzle, and start all over again. Choosing the other alternative will get you nowhere.
And although it might sound difficult to start from point zero, the good thing now is that you have the experience, and know what to avoid, which pieces fit or don’t fit the puzzle, etc.
In other words, starting all over and “failing” made you better at this, and now you have the chance to make it right. If not, start again, and again, and again…
You understand where I am going with this, and by now you’ve grasped the idea of life represented as a unique puzzle that is waiting to be solved.
And if sometimes life doesn’t go smoothly, then the most logical answer would be that your puzzle is not arranged properly, and you might have to make some changes. It can either be several pieces or the entire puzzle.
However, don’t be afraid of the change that is about to come, because it’s the best way to experience life fully and evolve.
