We often hear about how God is working behind the scenes in our lives. Through the story of the blind man, we get some insight into how we can become more aware of God’s pursuit of us.

There are certain things in life that we “just know,” well...we “think” we know. I’m looking at you that sings the wrong lyrics to that song!! :)

This passage helps us to have clarity about the most consequential thing in our lives...our relationship with God and how we interact with Him.

Jesus calls us out of darkness and into the light of life because he is the light of the world. This happens when we are changed by understanding and accepting the truth of who Jesus is and what he came to do.

Shame, guilt, condemnation...these are words that describe the inner turmoil of many people. In this story, we see a beautiful, yet gut wrenching, picture of what it looks like to experience grace and love in the midst of our darkest moments.

One of the things we ALL face is conflict. Since it is an inevitable part of life, we need to know how to face it. In this passage, the Pharisees give us the perfect example of how NOT to face conflict!
