Whewwww our community is in an uproar currently! When the news first dropped that Deion Sanders was potentially leaving JSU, GhiaLogic was confused as well. Many questions arose but the answers helped clear up many things. As a community, we move a lot based off of emotion. Deion Sanders decision to leave the SWAC was probably a hard one that he pondered on for a minute. We do not know everything he experienced in those three seasons in Mississippi!

Let's be quick to uplift and stand behind out Black leaders just as quick as we are to call them out. Let's show a little grace. This man helped Jackson State University land a primetime spot on ESPN. He helped them get new training facilities and Under Armour deals! He has accomplished so much for that school, the football program, the SWAC, and HBCUs in general. Let's be positive that he will be replaced with another strong leader.

There are many angles to this story. GhiaLogic empathizes with everyone's opinion. But let's not expect him to be the absolute savior of HBCU Sports!
