Christian Egyptologist, Dr. David Falk, has chosen to weigh in on the Shroud debate and make a short 20 min video outlining his reasons for thinking the Shroud is a Byzantine painting dating sometime before the 4th Crusade in 1204 A.D. in Constantinople. Interestingly, I was part of his motivation for his doing so and so I take it as my responsibility to refute the 4-5 substantive points he makes as to why the Shroud is not historically authentic as Jesus' burial shroud.
