• The lines on the ḥadīth of the descent: Allāh descends to the lowest heaven in the last part of every night, "Is there anyone asking forgiveness, that I may forgive him?"

• Seizing the last third of the night, and the one who wastes it in front of screens

• The ḥadīth of the descent is mutawātir, narrated by some twenty-eight Companions; the loss of those who reject it

• The danger of being a caller to misguidance and carrying the burdens of those one misleads (16:25)

• The line on seeing Allāh: "Say as he ﷺ said", and the ḥadīth of Jarīr: "You will see your Lord as you see this moon"

• The ḥadīth likens the seeing to the seeing, not Allāh to the moon; guarding Fajr and ʿAṣr as a means to that bliss

• The Jahmī denies Allāh's Right Hand, "and both of His Hands are right, pouring down with blessings"

• The Muʿaṭṭilah: the Jahmiyyah, the Muʿtazilah, and those below them in negation, the Ashāʿirah, Kullābiyyah and Māturīdiyyah

• Allāh has two Hands, mentioned in the dual, the singular and the plural; attributes of the Essence and attributes of action

• The Wāqifah, who will not say whether the Qurʾān is created: hesitation between truth and falsehood presented as moderation is deception

• The speech of the Salaf is clear: the Qurʾān is the Speech of Allāh, not created

• The believers will see their Lord: the removal of the veil, "the best and more" (10:26) and "looking at their Lord" (75:23)

• Sūrat al-Ikhlāṣ and the categories of tawḥīd

• Refuting the claim that ʿĪsā is the son of Allāh: his example is like that of Ādam (3:59)

• "Hold fast to the rope of Allāh": the rope is the Qurʾān and the Sunnah, and the prohibition of splitting

• The ḥadīth of al-ʿIrbāḍ: "Upon you is my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the rightly guided caliphs… bite onto it with the molar teeth"

• Beneficial knowledge is knowledge that is acted upon; the guidance of direction and the guidance of acceptance

• "Do not be an innovator": whoever introduces an innovation and deems it good claims the Messenger ﷺ betrayed the message

• Making the Book of Allāh and the Sunnah one's religion; the Companions did not differ in the fundamentals

• The Qurʾān is the Speech of Allāh, revealed and not created, and the origin of the Jahmiyyah's innovation
