Our destination was again in the centre, the apartments was huge and on the top floor. It was the heart of the town so many points of interests were close to 2-3 kms. We first walked towards Plaza De Catalunya, very crowded spot, tourists all over the place and so lively

We were on the roads in Spain for the last 7 days, after making so many memories in Valencia we left for Alicante on Day-7. The distance from Valencia to Alicante was only 165 km compared to the earlier distances, this was the shortest yet. We left Valencia around 11 am and hit the roads.

We were the happiest in Alicante, it was great fun. We left Alicante in the morning around 11am, we were now heading more towards Southern Spain. The mountains were totally naked, we saw a lot of greenhouse farming on both the sides of the highways. It’s very hot in the summer in Southern Spain hence farming inside the tents. It was white tents all around us on the highway.

Malaga was like the cherry on the top, we absolutely loved it. We had covered most of Spain already, we were now heading towards Madrid and planned stays on the way to Madrid. Our next stop was Seville, this place was also mentioned in the movie and is famous for Skydiving. Malaga to Seville was 206 km, 2 hours and 17 minutes drive.

Mainland Spain is a mountainous country, dominated by high plateaus and mountain chains. Our next destination was Cordoba, we didn’t hear much about this place but it looked like a good stopover on our way to Madrid. Hubby booked 2 nights instead of one in Cordoba, he felt we might be able to explore the nearby towns if there is nothing in Cordoba.
