Dating back more than fifty years, New Dimensions is an interdisciplinary, team-taught humanities class at Hudson High School.  How is the class structured and why has this curriculum stood the test of time?  Hear from the two instructors and a senior student about the rigor of New Dimensions, as well as the highlight of the class: the annual trip to New York City!

Each week, Hudson High School students are out in the community volunteering their time to help others.  From assisting patients in hospice to working with special needs students, those in Service Learning demonstrate what it means to be a leader in the community.  Hear from current students about why Hudson's Service Learning Program, founded in 1998, has served as a model for the Ohio Department of Education.

Hudson City Schools is known for its academic rigor, but what about the qualities students need to succeed when they leave the hallways of high school?  This year, the district set aside six days to focus on the characteristics that make up the "Portrait of an Explorer."  Hear from teacher Marc Zustin and two students about why the initiative was needed, and what they hope to achieve in the months and years to come.

Community support is an integral part of our winning sports teams in Hudson City Schools.  Football games under the Friday Night Lights attract thousands of people each week during the fall to hear the band, watch the cheerleaders, and cheer our team to victory.  What was it like to be part of a team that went 13-0 for only the third time in school history?  You'll hear from Quarterback Jagger Pallay, Coach Jeff Gough and Athletic Director Mike Chuppa, as they talk with Superintendent Dana Addis about building teamwork and tenacity.
