Last hour, one of our listeners asked why MAGA leadership is making cuts to public broadcasting. Civic Media News Director Chali Pittman has the answer. The infamous Project 2025 Mandate for Leadership contained the rationale for ending the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. As with many other horrific actions of the Trump administration, we were informed beforehand that this would happen. 

In other federal policy news, the Trump administration is launching USAi, an initiative to incorporate AI into government work.
