To understand the subject of UFOs and ETs, I believe it's imperative that we look to earlier history, reports and articles to better understand where we are today. If one does not pay history the respect it deserves, then one will continually invent the wheel again and again without making any headway or deepening our understanding. Further, a criticism that I apply to much of modern-day Ufology is that it's not done the historical research and is ignoring the past while being stuck in endless debate and personal attack over present-day sightings and reports.

Jim Goodall served in the U.S. Air Force from 1962 - 1997.
