Women in Hollywood are constantly accused of 'sleeping their way to the top' in order to be considered a 'star'. If you look at the timeline, women in hollywood have been dealing with sexism, abuse and misogyny from not only their colleges and their bosses but by so called 'fans' for generations. Ellen was a huge risk in the industry when she came out in her TV show as a lesbian. Rihanna faced backlash for standing up for her abusive boyfriend in 2009, and Taylor Swift can never seem to catch a break. The relation between all these women? They all had a voice that helped shape the women empowered industry we cherish today in 2021.
This years Grammy's was nothing short of spectacular, Harry Styles was basically sex on legs, Megan the Stallion won the night and Beyoncé (unsurprisingly) made history.
