This week we started our 4 part Christmas series on Christ, where Dan Ogle started with a word on 'Christ our Saviour'. We are reminded that Christ our Saviour has brought us salvation and saved us from the sting of death and also eternal damnation in hell (the wrath of God). We can rejoice because we have received a Saviour and that person is Jesus Christ!

This week we had our annual Christmas Production, where we had Elijah our very own church member/leader share his own powerful testimony in a very unique way! Pastor Peter then preaches on the importance on unmasking and leaving all your masks, masks of sorrow, fear, sadness at the feet of Jesus so that he can bring you life in abundance.

Pastor Peter preaches his first Word after coming back from a long awaited missions trip. This week he spoke on how we walk in the power of God. This is a question that many Christians may have and it is important that we understand the answer in order to live a life worthy of the calling God has put on us!

This week we concluded our 3 week series on Divine Appointments. Shannon, our Expression Embers leader brought an amazing word on how God orchestrated divine appointments in Esther and Mordecai's life to remain faithful to his people and his promises.

It took the boldness and courage of Esther to know what her identity was to have a powerful chapter 4 and 5. When we are obedient to God's voice and initiate his appointed divine appointments even though it may look scary, we will see the faithfulness and goodness of God as we place our trust and faith in him alone!

For part 2 of our 3 week series, Pastor Don speaks on the divine appointments in the Book of Acts. He focuses on the whispers of God, and how God speaks to us in order to orchestrate his divine appointments.

Pastor Peter speaks on the divine appointments in Ruth's life which led her to being part of generational greatness. We see how through her obedience she was blessed generationally by God.

Dan Ogle brings a word on how we can cultivate a heart desperate for God, just like blind Bartimaeus did. He displayed a heart of hunger and thirst for the power of God and this is the same heart that us as Christians need to grab a hold of whether we are new or old to the faith.

Despite what the world and the people in it may think, we need to always cultivate a heart desperate for God!
