third time's a charm, right? our shortest ep yet, we talk about crackers (1984, louis malle) and problem child (1990, dennis dugan). both of these films have jack warden. honestly, i thought that because malle is from the french new wave and wallace shawn is a "smart guy", that crackers would be some high brow ass shit. it ended up being just some dumb shit, but we'll do a real art film next week. also, we introduce a new instant-classic segment. does it have to do with a certain conspiracy involving politicians and italian food? you'll have to listen to find out!
