Piano/Ambient Music - Vindsvept - Pieces of a Memory

This is probably the easiest song to play I've written. I had this idea of making a really dark and raw track based on that piano sound, it's old and creaky and I love it. There's a whole bunch of layering going on, it's almost a bit deceptive. There are pads going in and out of tune making it sound unstable and strange. That old felt piano, wonky pads and overtones really make it sound so much darker.

I shot some footage while making this song and I edited that together and put it on Patreon, it's a bit of piano playing, lots of bass recording and some guitar layering on the chorus. When the song is already sounding a bit off, it's even more fun to just throw layers on top not having to be too careful about string noises and little mistakes.
