Endometriosis aka endo affects one in nine Australian women - yes, that might be you, your friend or perhaps your partner struggles with it. Intensively heavy periods, pulsing headaches, excruciating abdominal pain and painful sex are just some of the dibilating symtoms. It’s often hard to nail a diagnosis and there is no cure. Bridget Hustwaite hosts Triple J’s nighttime program, Good Nights, and has just written a book called How To Endo which blends her own experiences with tips and strategies from health experts. Bridget was finally diagnosed with endo in 2018. In this episode, Bridget talks candidly about her struggles with endo, what she does for self-care and how to navigate sex when you suffer from endo.
