Many Witches perform some sort of rededication to their personal spiritual path at some point in their practices, often on a yearly basis. While the more “traditional” time is considered at Candlemas in February, those of us on The Path perform this during our Egress Ritual for the Times of Samhain. To us, it make the most sense to do so now as we continue down into the darkest energies of the year as a time of contemplation and study. The Crone shares our own personal rededication statement or oath if you prefer but we recommend writing one of your own and figuring out when (or if) you want to perform one. Some Witches we know do so on the anniversary of when they started practicing Witchcraft but it is up to you to choose the appropriate moment for yourself.
