"Worked out your salvation with fear & trembling." You can't think once saved always saved. Having your name in the book of life is based on the cross....the minute your soul is liberated, set free from the kingdom of darkness and then into the kingdom of God, when a person surrenders his or her life to the Lord,  is not only celebrated in heaven but recorded in the book of life.
