Eli Escobar interviewed CEO of Rebuilding Houston,Christine Holland regarding their 40th Anniversary helping the community. With more than 14,650 neighbors served, they have averaged one family helped per day, each day for 40 years. To celebrate they are building 40 wheelchair ramps this year to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Celebration festivities will take place Thursday, May 12 at 10 am at Hartman Park -- 9311 E Avenue P, Houston, TX 77012. Present that day will be Mayor Sylvester Turner, Rebuilding Together founder Rob Mosbacher, Rebuilding Together Houston CEO/ED Christine Holland, Rebuilding Together National Board of Directors, Rebuilding Together Houston Board of Directors, Rebuilding Together staff and volunteers. Proclamations by the City of Houston and Harris County will be made and in addition two homes across the street from Hartman Park will be in the process of being rebuilt.
