In this episode, physician, veteran, world traveler, and sci-fi author Dr. Jen Finelli joins us to chat about her latest project, the epic space opera series The Neodymium Chronicles. Dr. Jen discusses her series, as well as why the theme of using pain as motivation to overcome life’s challenges informs much of her writings.

Australian zombie short CARGO tells the heartbreaking story of a father facing his inevitable turn into a monster and his increasing desperation to secure safety for his infant daughter. This short was adapted into a full-length feature of the same name now available via streaming on Netflix.

Sci-fi short film DISARM depicts a near-future in which advanced robotic protheses made by a firm called Corpus Corp. give their users superhuman abilities. However, the government views these protheses as a potential national threat and a law is passed making them illegal.

A Corpus Corp. representative is paired with a law enforcement officer to “repossess” the protheses - regardless if their owners give them up voluntarily or not.

ATLANTIS CONSPIRACY is an action-packed sci-fi short film set in an alternate reality where Atlantis not only exists, but also mysterious artifacts from the sunken continent have been unearthed and procured by mysterious groups of people known as “clans.”

When two clans decide to transfer ownership of a piece of a powerful Atlantian suit of armor, an opposing group also seeking the artifact enters the fray. Chaos ensues.
